Your CP plus course

If you’ve just gained your Club Pilot (CP) qualification you probably recognise that you’re very much at the beginning.  Our CP Plus course aims to speed up your development and help you become a safe, capable and confident pilot.

During the 5 day course we’ll focus on flying as much as possible.  In addition to gaining lots of airtime under the watchful guidance of our top instructors, you’ll also learn more about:

  • Thermalling  (massive topic to include how to “map” thermals, control your glider to stay safe whilst flying and much more besides)
  • Start XC Flying
  • Landing (Advanced landing techniques beyond the CP syllabus)
  • Take-off (Confidence building glider control sessions)
  • Lots of top landing practice
  • Psychological aspects to flying XC and flying in general

Price and what’s included

700 Euros includes:

  • Bungalow accommodation (7nights)
  • Airport transfers from Barcelona (Sunday and Sunday)
  • Full guiding service for the duration of your stay
  • Use of Passion Trackers (GPS trackers to monitor your live position for safety and debriefing purposes)
  • Use of ground training mini-wings

Not included (but required!)

  • Flying equipment  (rental at additional charge: brand new wings, harnesses, helmets, radios,..)
  • Insurance

Almost qualified?

If you’re almost qualified – maybe missing the odd CP task, you are also welcome to join this course.  Expect to complete your CP and move well beyond.
